Dr. Salingar was the coordinator of the WaterNet
Project which derives from the program adopted by the
Multilateral Working Group on Water Resources of the Middle
East Peace Process (part of the Madrid Agreement). WaterNet
is a project undertaken jointly by the Israeli Government
(Ministry of Foreign Affairs),
Israeli research / implementation authorities (the
Technion – Israel Institute of Technology, the
Hydrology Service, the
Geological Survey,
Kinneret Limnological Laboratory and
Mekorot - Water Company), the Jordanian Government and
the Palestinian Authority. The project is financed by
the Norwegian and USA Governments and facilitated by CESAR
– a Norwegian NGO. |
